On April 25, 2024, the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum - Global Intellectual Property Protection and Innovation Forum, along with the Seventh Beijing Invention Patent Awards Ceremony, was grandly held. LargeV's patent "A Method for Segmentation of Three-dimensional Tooth Mesh Data Based on Harmonic Field Algorithm" was awarded the third prize in the Seventh Beijing Invention Patent Awards.

As a gathering place for universities, research institutes, and innovative enterprises, Beijing has become a prominent high-tech hub in China and even the world. Standing out in the selection of the Beijing Invention Patent Awards is no easy feat. This award is the result of the collective efforts of the LargeV R&D team, representing the high recognition of relevant departments for LargeV's technological innovation and R&D capabilities.

Award Introduction

The "Beijing Invention Patent Awards" aims to encourage the granting of patent rights for innovative achievements, improve the quality of invention patents, promote the implementation and commercialization of invention patents, and commend patentees and inventors who have made outstanding contributions to the economic and social development of Beijing. The awards are held every two years and are of great significance in establishing a reward-oriented approach to technology, incentivizing patentees and inventors. These award-winning patents represent the highest level of technological innovation in Beijing, providing strong impetus for promoting high-quality development.

Since our inception, LargeV  has remained true to its original aspiration and forged ahead with determination, carving out a path of innovation with its own distinctive features and solid technological foundation.

In 2012, LargeV's independently developed high-end professional CBCT "HiRes3D"  became the first domestically produced device to receive medical device registration, breaking the monopoly of imported brands in the high-end oral CBCT market.

In 2020, LargeV launched the industry's first four-in-one intelligent oral CBCT, capable of capturing four types of dental images in a single shielded room, saving operational costs for numerous dental clinics.

In 2022, LargeV released the world's first dual-source dual-detector CBCT, advancing image resolution from traditional sub-millimeter to ten-micrometer levels. This breakthrough significantly improved clinical diagnosis and treatment for diseases in otolaryngology and dentistry, benefiting a large number of patients.

In 2023, LargeV's "Cone Beam CT Imaging Equipment R&D and Industrialization Project" was awarded the second prize in Beijing's scientific and technological progress awards.
